...we headed for Plano, Texas to visit daughter Elizabeth and her family over Easter. Four days later, we returned home.
It was a generally good, but tiring 36-day trip. Having gotten use to traveling by floating hotel (i.e. cruise ships), we found a land tour much more demanding. One statistic that stuck in our mind was packing and unpacking 18 times. On balance, we saw lots of interesting places we could never visit other than overland.
We are already planning our 2016 trip...on a cruise ship.
