We have advanced our depart to 3:00 PM this afternoon.
Our plan as recently as yesterday morning was to leave the house tomorrow about 6:45 AM, thereby allowing some extra time getting to Providence given the weather forecast of 1"-3" of snow. By yesterday afternoon the forecast had increased the storm's size (4"-8") and duration.
We will be spending the night at the Omni Hotel in Providence and having a relaxing dinner at Fleming's, secure in the knowledge that in the morning if necessary we can walk to the train station.
In retrospect it may turn out that this change of plan was unnecessary, but given the past five weeks, including one storm that was forecast for a maximum of 12" of snow and dropped 20", I'm okay with being a wuss.
